Every day at midnight Eastern there's a new lineup of seven prompts, like “2010s AFC West wide receiver.”
You get 30 seconds per prompt. Type any athlete who fits and hit Enter. There are no wrong answers: a name we don't have just shakes it off and you keep pulling. But if the clock hits zero, your day is done. Last names work when there's only one of them in the book.
Points come from how deep the pull is. Stars score low. The names only a sicko knows score big. The stadium plays it out: a single is a safe pull, a grand slam is a deep one. Hockey goes from puck in deep to an absolute howitzer. Golf goes bogey to hole-in-one.
The first three prompts are warm-ups (a decade, a division, a position). The last four get progressively weirder: a Gordie Howe hat trick, a homer at Fenway, a Pro Bowler from Alabama.
Missed a day? The ARCHIVE replays any past lineup (saves your score, never extends your streak).
Sudden death: if the clock runs out on any prompt, the round is over and whatever you've banked is your score for the day. Your total earns a classification: Cut (0–500), Scrub (501–1,000), Bench Player (1,001–1,500), Starter (1,501–2,000), Hall of Famer (2,001–3,000), Build the Statue (3,001+).
